Indian Oil Corp , the country’s top refiner, has bought 3 million barrels of sweet crude for November delivery via a tender, trade sources said on Friday.

The purchase included 2 million barrels of U.S. West Texas Intermediate Midland crude from Totsa and 950,000 barrels of Nigerian Agbami crude from Chevron, they added.

The WTI cargo was sold at about $3.50 a barrel above dated Brent on delivery at port basis to Vadinar, one of the sources said, while the price for the Agbami cargo was not immediately available.
